Manage and oversee program support for SAIC’s Chicago Scholars and First-Generation Fellows programs. Provide academic and career advising, workshops, faculty and peer mentoring, scholarships and exhibitions opportunities for these vulnerable and underrepresented student populations. Supervise program staff, maintain budget and facilitate interdepartmental collaboration in service of Student Success efforts. Work as a member of the Office of Student Affairs’ Student Support Team in rotation on the Dean-on-Call 24/7 student issues and crisis management team. Serve as Student Board Officer in Student Conduct hearings.

Provide leadership for professional staff in the delivery of high quality technology services in support of Emerson’s academic mission of communication, media and arts education in a liberal arts context. Oversee student, faculty and staff support for use of information technology, media technologies and production facilities and resources. Provide vision and direction for management of the IT Help Desk, Equipment Distribution Center, IT Media Services, Engineering and Repair, Emerging Media, Video and Film production, Sound Stage, Television Production and Postproduction facilities. Serve and help define institutional strategy toward technology planning, use and capability.

Provide access to technology resources and materials for the instruction, creation, documentation and presentation of instructional materials and artwork of varying media. Oversee equipment cages, photography and digital video labs and school TV and radio stations. Direct classroom and venue AV system design and installation. Direct the delivery of media, design and AV production services for academic, administrative and promotional purposes. Accommodate resale of artmaking materials to students and faculty.

Responsible for production of over 140 promos and programs designed to increase awareness of CAN-TV’s mission and services. Provide outreach, production, development and training services for organizations, elected officials and government bodies interested in the use of community media. Deliver completed programs in timely manner for cablecast schedule.
