CurrentAs a key member of a three-person team, I provide 24/7 support to over 120 onsite and remote staff at the Daily Mail and UK Metro satellite office in Central Glasgow. In this L2 role, I leverage my expertise in network, communication, and desktop support to assist both editorial and advertising departments.Key Achievements:• MailOnline Global Website Launch: Played a crucial role in the setup and launch of MailOnline in New York, whilst also providing remote support to the UK office• Office Relocation Project: Led the relocation project for the Scottish Daily Mail and UK Metro office, ensuring uninterrupted operations and publication• Migration Project: Spearheaded the migration from Windows XP to Windows 10, including comprehensive staff training• Pandemic Response: Built, configured, and deployed over 100 laptops in two days to ensure business continuity during the pandemic along with remote access trainingTechnical Support and Responsibilities:• Provide comprehensive support for Mac OSX, Windows 2010, Office 365, Atex Prestige, Adobe Creative Suite, and various in-house systems• Oversee onboarding processes, creating new user accounts and administering various systems• Deliver desktop, laptop, and communication device support, along with printer maintenance and asset management• Deploy operating systems, distribute and update software, maintain equipment inventories, and configure user PCs using SCCM• Administer user accounts via Microsoft Exchange, Azure, and Identity ManagerOther Software Utilised and Supported:• Configuration and Management Tools: SCCM, Software Center, One Identity - Identity Manager, One Identity - Active Roles Server, ServiceNow• Remote Access and Collaboration: Splashtop, Remote Access Software, Slack, SharePoint• Security and Compliance: Safeguard, Intune, Snow, Defender • Communication and Productivity: CISCO CUCM, Lotus Notes, Workday, Content Hub for Publisher (CHP)
