The Customer Technical Lead is accountable for the technical deliverables in Architecture and Design – providing technical governance, ensuring quality outcomes, resolving high severity technical issues, building customer relationships and enhancing the customer’s satisfaction. In this role I functionally lead a team of Architects and Designers to ensure the quality and alignment of Telstra deliverables to the customer’s business objectives. This is a key lead role in providing a technical interface into Telstra’s delivery teams and back into one of our largest strategic enterprise customers. As the CTL I play an integral part in developing the IT strategy roadmap, as well as ensuring that all technical documentation is in place and up to date so as to maintain the manageability of the customer’s infrastructure. By drawing on experiences from across Telstra’s Products and Services as well as Telstra’s Partners and Vendors I helps ensure the smooth delivery and integration of any new infrastructure and services.

This role was within the NAB CTL team at Telstra, providing Architecture support and strategy input to the NAB account. I provided input to the NAB Annual Technology Plan, network-management SOE, and new service creation for the NAB account. This role required the being familiar with all the relevant Telstra products and services as well as vendors and partners’ offerings.

As part of Telstra’s managed wide area networks, troubleshooting infrastructure faults, writing network management scripts, and implemented large WAN infrastructure deployments.

JobBay is an online task-based employment agency aimed at facilitating and coordinating, casual/temporary or project based work for the Australian and New Zealand market. Business Analysis rolePredominately my role was to research and devise a business model for the JobBay company, incorporating strategic analysis of JobBay’s rapidly changing market segment. This was integrated this into a business plan that was used to secure funding for further web application development. Software ArchitectDesign and implementation of the JobBay AJAX web application using ASP.NET 3.5 C# on a MS SQL2005, IIS6/7 platform, using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008.
