Apply current trends and technology being used in the construction to the instruction of courses. Primary responsibility was overseeing apartment renovation and major capital improvement projects for all 6 Properties in the Columbus Market. Each renovation project with average budget of 1.5 Million Dollars. Capital improvement project budgets ranges from $50,000 to $800,000. To execute these duties, I would work closely with in-house project and design manager to select finishes, appliance brands, types of flooring and other unit upgrade styles needed develop the scope for each renovation project and prepare the documents needed to bid the projects out to local contractors. I supervise any work that was to be completed by the in-house maintenance personnel. While in this position I worked with support personnel in the corporate office to create a policy and procedures manual for the overall renovation program, to set a documentation standard for renovation programs, and to create a dashboard that allowed project managers to be better informed about project health.

Each renovation project ranging from $300,00 to $1,000,000 per hotel To execute these duties, I would work closely with in-house project and design manager to determine finishes, types of flooring and other unit upgrade styles needed develop the scope for each renovation project and prepare the documents needed to bid the projects out to local contractors. I supervised the general contractors that were contracted by the client and did frequent QC inspections and QA trainings for their crews to maintain an acceptable level of work product. I was also charged with processing all of the project paperwork and close out documents.
