I’m Craig, and I am Head of Audience Development at Kelsey Media. I lead a team dedicated to increasing the digital footprint of world-renowned brands including Stuff, Amateur Photographer, Men's Fitness, and 220 Triathlon.I specialise in designing content strategies to underpin print-to-digital transitions, having undertaken content-focused roles at Future for nine years before joining Haynes Publishing, developing essential skills in SEO, content and audience development along the way, and sharing those skills with my teams.Prior to focusing my career on audience development I was editor of Creative Bloq, the world's biggest art and design website. During my time on the CB team we took the site from zero to 7m pageviews in two years, with my SEO Operations Editor role a key component of that increase.In 2019, Haynes published my first book, ‘Car Hacks’. I’ve written for tech magazines T3 and Stuff, and football mag FourFourTwo, and I have built and project managed websites for individuals and organisations including Bath Spa University.I was editor of the football supporters' website Aberdeen Mad from 2004 to 2016, a site that I took from 30k to 3m pageviews per month in my spare time. Last but by no means interesting: I’m a trip-hop DJ, WSET-certified drinks specialist, family guy, and Oxford comma believer.
