As part of the Space Transportation System Operations Contract for NASA's Space Shuttle:Proposed and led development of two integrated, multi-vendor hardware/software prototypes that redefined the flight operations planning model used by over 200 NASA Space Shuttle mission design engineers. Integrated flight simulation, database and user interface technologies to effect greater mission safety and reduced engineering and planning time. Prepared and delivered management communications that spawned a NASA-funded, $40M process and systems upgrade project that would increase mission planning capacity by over 100%. Received formal recognition by senior executive leadership for superior performance.
