Working as a professor and an author to make information accessible and memorable for different audiences. I believe that content without impact is like a sounding gong, informational but not transformational. In writing for children, I've worked with amazing illustrators and editors to translate complex ideas into words and images that target the head and the heart.

Over a period of ten years I served in various roles but was involved with branding, marketing, and recruiting throughout. I was promoted to Vice President for Communications where I led the school in a total rebrand (logo/web/videography/environmental/marketing) including a major campaign for the institution's 150th celebration. I transitioned out of that role after three years due to being promoted to dean of the undergraduate college. Even as dean, I was still very active with the communications team helping to completely rebrand the college, craft the narrative for the school, and affect the placement of the school in the competitive marketplace of higher education. The school experienced a pronounced season of growth during this time.
