I have been working in the field of software engineering since 1994. I have seen a lot of cool things being built. My career spans 2 continents and multiple companies. I have experienced the rise and fall of Web 1.0 in Silicon Valley (Personify 1999-2002). I was there for Web 2.0 (eBuddy 2006-2009), I focussed on making the Dutch healthcare a better and safer place (Infomedics 2009 - 2019) and am teaching students how to be responsible hackers (HvA / NOVI - 2015 - now).What I am:- Teacher of CyberSecurity (Threat Hunting, Malware Reverse Engineering, cybersecurity)- builder and maintainer of large-scale software systems- passionate about Security (Blue Team/Red Team)- programming languages geek- technology enthusiast- most importantly: passionate about my family As a person I am enthusiastic and pragmatic.
