Growing up I believe that I have had the opportunity to take part in a lot of good and hard work that has helped prepare me to be a diligent worker and student in my future adult life. For the majority of my younger childhood I grew up on a ranch, where I learned many important aspects of hard work. Such as getting the job done, working hard, working as a team, and staying responsible about certain duties. Moving on from my time living on a farm and ranch I think I have learned to develop many of those skills into my further endeavors.My experience in the BSA Boy Scouts of America comes to mind. I worked with many mentors over the years and achieved many accomplishments within. I eventually earned the highest rank, my Eagle Scout rank at the age of 14, the youngest age you can get it. In my time as a scout I learned a lot about myself and how to work as a team, and I also gained many important life skills that will help me in my future.My first job I got at Ace Hardware in June 2021 and worked there for a year. It was a great introduction to what it is like to work with a team and communicate with a manager, co-workers, and patrons. I loved working as a team and gained much experience and learned many skills that will continue to always be valuable to me.I love to learn new things and share my knowledge with others, whether through discussion or even teaching. One of my passions is fishing. I would say my favorite part about fishing is helping the others around me catch a fish, as well as teaching them how to do so on their own. I think this is because I love sharing the knowledge and skill that I have obtained. Other things I love to learn and teach about is history, geography, sports, and anatomy and physiology and things pertaining to the body.I have made effort to shape my education in a way that will benefit my best for my future, taking many rigorous AP and honor classes throughout high school. Through these classes I have learned to work hard and stay responsible and they have paid off in more ways than one. My classes have taught me a lot about many subject matters, as well as teaching me a lot about myself. Teaching me lessons whether it has been the easy way or the hard way.I believe that my experience throughout my childhood and adolescence has taught me many valuable things about the world around me, and myself within. I believe that as I continue to grow, learn, and explore what the world has to offer, I will continue to be set up for future opportunity and success through my own hard work and dedication.
