Cristina is a dedicated engineer that advocates on behalf of underrepresented minorities with conviction, braveness, and courage. She strives for equity and is on a mission to generate more learning opportunities for underrepresented communities who are looking to position themselves with unique superpowers in the tech industry, primarily in Cybersecurity.When she earned her first degree in Telecommunications, she discovers a whole new world full of creativity and possibilities. That inspired her to pursue her second engineering degree in Computer Science. Since then, she continues her learning path, academic growth and had certified in Information Security ISO 270001, ITIL, Avaya systems, and project management.Cristina has 9+ years of work experience within the tech industry where she has been able to support, design, build data-driven, secure IT solutions, and learning experiences on behalf of customers. She had the honor to work side by side with engineering teams at Telefonica, Google, Amazon, and most recently Microsoft as Senior Technical Program Manager.She truly believes that “life is too short to be small” and we all are called for a bigger purpose than ourselves or own needs. A collection of degrees or work experience is not to brag about or only feel proud of our accomplishments instead it is to put it all to the service of those on intellectual, financial, physical, mental or spiritual need.
