As a Clinical Research Coordinator at UC Davis Health, I helped manage and coordinate the GROW study, focusing on understanding cognitive aging in women. My role involves enrolling participants, administering cognitive assessments, taking vital signs, and ensuring accurate Spanish translations. I also contribute to the development of Manuals of Procedures (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), perform various regulatory tasks, and ensure compliance with study protocols.In addition to my core responsibilities, I was involved in the interviewing and training of new coordinators. I also lead team examiner meetings to discuss areas of improvement and in addressing participant concerns. I also manage patients who have high blood pressure readings during their visits, following up to ensure they have consulted their primary care doctors.
