As a software developer for cryptography testing, my main responsibilities are:- implementing tests using embedded C on ARM-based platforms, and Python (using a pytest-based framework) to validate a cryptographic library.- creating test specifications based on requirements and software description of the tested software components.- component ownership on testing side, meaning having a greater overview for multiple components and projects.- C and Python development for continuously developing and improving tests and the testing framework, as well as implementing references according to the cryptosystems various standards.- maintain university relations by teaching programming labs (computer programming). Acquired knowledge related to cryptographic systems and tools (ECC-, RSA-based cryptosystems, ciphers, authenticated encryption, CTR/Hash DRBGs, post quantum cryptography: Kyber and Dilithium), software unit and integration testing, crypto processors and various security subsystems.Main tools and applied knowledge: Embedded C, Python, pytest, Git, Atlassian tools suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), Software Testing.

The team I had the opportunity to work with during my time @Microchip was an 8-bit Embedded Applications team. My contribution to the team: I developed applications to proof the functionality of the Microchip embedded devices (AVR and PIC microcontrollers). I worked on developing technical briefs and application notes, as well as trainings. The main topics were: I2C, ADC, "Getting Started" guides, GPIO, sensors, python scripting. The main used tools are: MPLAB X IDE (NetBeans based), Atmel Studio (Visual Studio based), oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, development boards, Git, Jira, python, embedded C for PIC and AVR microcontrollers. Throughout my time with Microchip, I had the chance to create and hold technical presentations and get familiar with the SDL Tridion tool for developing and releasing documentation.

As a master working student, the main activities in the Digital Security Solutions department are:- system testing (module/interface testing for Infineon microcontrollers).- updating C test applications.- creating test concepts according to product architecture specifications.- executing system tests and investigating results.- developing and maintaining testing scripts (JavaScript, Python) for test automation.- developing and executing LabVIEW scripts for test automation, especially for SPI testing.

As an undergraduate student I worked in the System Validation team for the Digital Security Solutions department. The main activities and developed skills are:- getting familiar with smartcard devices and their functional characteristics;- debugging on test applications (C applications) and test scripts (javascript, python), bug fixing;- designing electronic boards using Altium Designer;- working with LabVIEW;- functional validation for contact based smartcards;- got familiar with the ISO7816 standard for smartcards. Tools used: C Programming Language, SVN for versioning, Altium Designer, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, Cheetah interface host.

As a student research intern, I worked with a Kinova robotic arm and a Myo muscular bracelet on a project that would integrate both devices. In collaboration with my colleague, the presentation of this project was held at the Robochallenge contest and at the PatriotFest contest.
