At Electry Consulting company I was able to gain my first experience in the human resources department. After a complete training I was responsible for tasks such as completing the necessary steps to screen them for hiring consideration and making a first phone interview to determinate the candidate's suitability. Broadly speaking I was responsible of recruiting, screening, arranging interviews, coordinating hiring efforts, and making a filter of CV's through the different job search portals. I was also responsible of maintaining the recruitment funnel, and keeping all involved hiring managers and colleagues informed. I was able to develop my communication and teamwork skills. In the weekly meetings with the team and the HR Manager, we were able to discuss areas for improvement in the selection of candidates. I was proactive as I always like to be able to contribute to the company to improve and optimise resources.

As a coordinator I was responsible for the supervision and coordination of handling operations. I had to coordinate the services for the plane's next flight like cleaning, catering and fuel. I had knowledge of aircraft scheduling perimeters, including aircraft limitations, time zone changes, crew duty and rest limitation, overflight and landing permit requirements, airport curfews and other topics to develop my job. I also had to advise appropriate personnel of potential delays and conditions affecting safety of the flight. My responsibilities included handling specific flight crews’ requests in a timely and efficient manner, and responding with different options to ensure the crews’ needs are met, for example sit changing. I also had to anticipate and proactively take action to deal with any kind of situations, For example, agreeing with the ground crew on the labelling of bags when they no longer fit inside the aircraft, making sure that everything was done in accordance with the company's regulations.
