Constructed a Flask app for users to upload their images and generate captions.Finding Trends in Scientific Research:Scraped article titles and abstracts from a leading scientific journal, stored them using MongoDB, and performed Natural Language Processing (NLP). Used topic modeling techniques (LDA, LSA, and NMF) as well as clustering (k-means clustering and agglomerative clustering), to determine trends in research.Pet Adoption Classifier:Used PostgreSQL to organize and merge data from a Houston-based animal shelter and classify whether a dog would be adopted or not. Classification models used include Decision Tree, Random Forest, KNN, SVM, and Naive Bayes. Interactive web app built using Flask to allow users to input parameters and determine whether a dog will be adopted.Predicting NCAA College Football Game Attendance: Built and optimized a linear regression model to predict attendance at Division I football games. Used web scraping (BeautifulSoup and Selenium) to collect data from ESPN, Wikipedia, and NCAA websites. Interactive visualizations of stadiums locations made using plotly/D3.
