As an Environmental Loans Project Manager, I am responsible for implementing two loan programs: the Clean Water Fund Program and the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program. This includes duties like: review of loan applications; review of documentation and correspondence submitted to satisfy loan requirements; preparation of Financial Assistance Agreements, project management, quality improvement; and representation of Department of Natural Resources positions at legal proceedings and public hearings.Some of the specialty areas that I am focusing on include (1) building strategies to promote environmental justice, (2) serving as the liaison between regional construction management engineers and centrally-located staff members, and (3) coordinating strategic planning efforts.

The position was schedule to last only a few months, so I jam packed my schedule and was able to schedule and execute 74 recruitment visits or meetings in 8 states within 82 days, including weekends.
