Crystal Casas was born and raised in Southern California and graduated from California State University Channel Islands with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from the Catholic University of America. Crystal has always had a vision for problem solving, a knack for efficiently driving projects to completion and seeing solutions where others may not. As Chief of Staff for Waiakea, Crystal ensures flexibility in response to a rapidly growing company while steering process advancement and mobilizing personnel to their highest potential and performance. Before becoming Chief of Staff, Crystal was a consultant for all quality and compliance projects, processes and SOP creation for Waiakea as well as several other corporations. Crystal streamlined procedures with strategic business operations so that her clients could focus on their core business and maximize profit.Previous to her work at Waiakea, Crystal was a Finance and Operations Manager at Cynvenio Biosystems Inc. the pioneer in LiquidBiopsy technology for the genomic analysis of tumor cells from whole blood in support of cancer precision medicine strategies. Additionally before that, she dedicated close to 9 years to an award-winning Super Food company in which she played a pivotal role in inception, compliance, certifications, labeling and ingredient sourcing.
