All my life I have been fascinated by how everything is connected, breaking down complex ecosystems to identify applicable information. When I was in primary school I explored avenues through science fairs and computer classes, both helping me organize my thoughts and focus my many curiosities. I overcame my initial stage fright and now love presenting my findings in an artistic and engaging fashion. While looking for a challenge, I competed in Imagine Tomorrow sustainable living competition and FCCLA Star Event. My team didn't win in either but I learned a lot in the process and from the other competitors. I started my associates degree while in high school through the Running Start program and worked in sales until I finished. After that I got certified as a phlebotomist and seamlessly transitioned into the medical field where I found comfort working in the lab with like-minded individuals. I'm eager to apply my skills in data analysis and laboratory work to new challenges in the field of biology
