Essential duties include but are not limited to, answering multi-line phone system; special project research and management; case management duties for fire survivors of the Bastrop County Complex Fire, including determining household eligibility, making referrals for families/individuals; allocation of household goods, furniture, and materials to households in need; case management duties for the Amy Young Barrier Removal Program, a State of Texas funded program that identifies, and removes everyday barriers in the homes of disabled Texans. Position is contract employment, contract will expire 03/05/2013

Essential duties included, but were not limited to, use of multi-line phone system; gathering and verifying information to support the specific unmet needs of households that were affected by the Bastrop County Complex Fires; Holding meetings with each household, and my supervisor; After determining the households eligibility I would then advocate for that family to help to meet the unmet needs that were outlined in each households case files; Creating and maintaining a filing system; Meeting with a financing committee/board to advocate for each families financial needs to be met.
