I coordinate college access and readiness programs for students, parents and teachers. I also support teachers with curriculum design and project implementation and design professional development opportunities. I work to leverage key resources within the school and outside of the school to promote student success.

I designed and managed service-learning programming at Phillips and Gage Park High School.

I assisted domestic and international visitors with planning trips to Chicago by highlighting cultural gems in the city.

I worked with groups of 6th-8th graders at GearUp and Beyond The Bell Summer Academy programs at Loyola and Northeastern University. I collaborated with other teachers to create inquiry-based units about leadership and community. The majority of the students were from schools in Austin, a neighborhood of Chicago.

I assisted with the planning and facilitation of the After School program. I co-facilitated the Louder Than a Bomb Spoken Word Poetry Club, College Crew, and Dreamers Club. Mentored students and helped with college preparation planning, research, goal-setting, filling out admissions applications, and scholarship applications. I co-facilitated workshops, a club, and other programs to assist undocumented students obtain a work permit, and apply for college and scholarships.

- Trained new employees for positions such as: phone worker, hostess, cashier and delivery driver- Supervised the delivery and front of house sections of the restaurant by resolving customer concerns and facilitating the processing of orders

I led educational activities such as nature walks, bird-watching, insect catching and games for large groups of children ages (4-13). The program is designed to instill the acknowledgement and appreciation of nature in an urban environment. We worked in Jackson Park, Northerly Island, and Humboldt Park, and Columbus Park.
