Medical Assistant
• Room patients and provide quality care throughout the duration of their office visit.• Assist physician with surgical and cosmetic procedures, assist front desk and allergy nurse when needed.• Update patients’ medical charts and complete detailed notes for each office visit including examination, assessment, plan, and procedure (if relevant).• Triage patient phone calls and coordinate messages to and from the physicians in a timely manner.• Work as a team with 5 other medical assistants and nurses to complete tasks including assisting with prior authorizations, calling back patient pathology reports, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining a clean lab.
