● Implementing algorithms to improve localization accuracy of a pipe leak detection and repair robot by fusing data from gyroscopes and other sensors for dead reckoning.● Implementing low pass, complimentary, and Kalman filters in MATLAB to improve sensor data accuracy

● Design (in NX) and prototype (using SLS 3D printing) an animal inspired foot for the Europa Lander● Construct potential Europa surface analogues using 3D printing and various granular and foam-like materials for testing how landing hardware could interact with the surface

As a teaching assistant, I reinforce learning of classical mechanics by answering questions and helping students solve problems during class . I also provide feedback to students on their level of understanding by finding and fixing mistakes while grading problem sets.

I worked as a software intern in IT Release Management developing a new release management web tool using the Django framework and MySQL database. I worked on a scrum team during my 10 week internship as both a tester and frontend/ backend developer. I gained development experience in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Django, and MySQL as well as experience in designing and documenting over 200 test cases.

I worked under professors from MIT and Tufts University to design a new blood pressure monitor. My specific role on the team was designing and constructing arterial conduits for testing the device. I gained experience with various machine shop tool in order to fabricate a mold for my conduits in addition to working with various types of silicone and degassing chambers. I also helped the researchers plan the entire testing process and documented research for their literature review.
