I've worked in Medical Administration now for almost 12+ years, serving as a part of the leadership team for the last 5 years. With this experience I've learned a great deal of medical business and practices from the opposite side of being in a clinic. In addition to that, my previous experience of working in a medical office as a Medical Assistance and a senior living facility serving patients directly helps me piece together the puzzle when it comes to healthcare and the needs of patients. This gives me the advantage of knowing and understanding the business of healthcare as a whole. Throughout this journey, I've learned a lot along the way. I went to college to obtain my degree in Psychology and now use my educational experience as Public Speaker and Advocate for Women and Children. My corporate line of work in leadership and on the front line taught me the importance of keeping the people first. There is no role that is unimportant and creating a space where everyone has a voice is non-negotiable. I take pride in my ability to connect and empathize with others. I believe it is imperative to know and understand the uniqueness of others in order to build bonds and trust within a relationship. Acknowledging that each individual has different views and interpretations opens up a new foundation that can continually be built upon. Having these core values help keep me grounded and open to new and endless opportunities.
