I'm Crystal Hernandez, the proud owner and lead interior designer of Crystal Design Co. Interior Design is my absolute passion and artistic expression. When I see an empty space, my mind burst with ideas! I'm always inspired by the challenges each project brings and take pride in ensuring a collaborative and enjoyable design process – helping each unique client bring their vision to life. It all started in community college. I was taking classes in a variety of subjects – nothing that was for me at least! – so I found myself taking a painting class. Our assignment was to create an inspiration collage of our future. My classmate presented a collage about INTERIOR DESIGN and a light bulb went off! I looked back at my life growing up remembering my unstoppable vivid imagination, eccentric room décor, crazy homemade outfits, the list goes on! Creativity drove everything I did. I was a designer my whole life and did not even realize. To this day, I wish I could thank this stranger! A decade ago, I discovered my passion for interior design. Today, I am a University of Florida Graduate with a Bachelor’s in Interior Design. Pursuing all of my passions – interior design, decoration, building and making, and architectural drafting – and merging them all into one for CRYSTAL DESIGN CO.An empty space is a story waiting to happen.
