Integrated the editor with automatic email sending service, which allows property mangers to send notifications or comments to tenants inside the system. - Developed features to support managing affordable housing (20000+ units were added in three months after released), including annual income verification for LIHTC and program rent limit calculation. Built REST API to connect the certification data between the backend and the MobX observables in the frontend React components.- Optimized the usage of API calls in codebase with sideposting to maintain the relationship between different resources and to align with the format of json_api protocol. Gave a talk in the company about the design pattern to follow for similar usage.- Implement both frontend and backend whitelist validation on PDF file submission to prevent malicious attacks.
