• Supervised a team of 5 to 10 Case Managers for Long Term Recovery IDCM/DCM program. • Perform Client interview as well as assessment of related disaster damage of clients home and personal property.• Assist Client with disaster Recovery plan services to meet long term recovery needs.• Maintain accurate client/family data and statistics to monitor recovery plan.• Generate Client reports in accordance with request from Recovery Operation Manager.• Input & Manage disaster case’s using Coordinated Assistance Network (CAN) software system.• Lead, train/coach and evaluate Case Managers with assign casework duties.• Review and Evaluate Case managers/client recovery plan to ensure repair, reconstruction and rehabilitation of disaster damage, including ensuring proper documentation and process for service delivery.• Conduct and provide Team briefings and mentoring as Case Manager’s support system to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations.• Upheld partnerships with FEMA, State and applicant by Coordinating, collaborating, and communicating with Voluntary Agencies, State and local governments, and other federal agencies to ensure and provide the best service delivery to applicants.• Manage escalated calls and provided quality customer service delivery to disaster applicants, with patience, empathy and compassion. • Provide technical guidance in case close out.• Communicating, both orally and written, with senior level management and partners in advocating for client needs.• Treat all clients, volunteers, guest and other employees in a courteous and respectful manner at all times while maintaining a cooperative atmosphere for everyone.
