I was recruited by the CEO and chairman of the board of this world-renown leader in cyber security products and services to elevate the brand, transform the Americas (LATAM and NA) region that was accounting for 46% of total revenue, and reinforce Check Point’s leadership position in the industry.Managed all field operations for the Americas and had full P&L responsibility for a $1.2B line of business, leading a team of 10 direct reports and 1,100 employees and setting the strategic direction for all field operations, including sales, presales engineering, sales operations, field marketing, renewals, revenue ops and GTM.These efforts reversed 9 years of -14% negative growth to a +15% profit in FY 2020, outperforming the company’s annual growth rate, driving stock prices to the highest point in 10 years and earning industry and investor recognition.ADDITIONAL SCOPE OF IMPACT ◈ Leveraged my expertise in channel programs to influence senior leadership on the importance of channel partners and creating a dynamic and meaningful channel program ◈ Solidified strategic relationships with channel partners, global system integrators and TELCOs, including AT&T, Verizon, etc., to place Check Point products “top-of-mind” over the competition ◈ Recruited top industry executives and established a professional, employee-focused work culture that valued employees’ contributions, improved morale and retained key talent, cutting turnover in half to just 15%◈ Built a cultural bridge between the corporate headquarters in Israel and the US, gaining the trust of key influencers in Tel Aviv to advance the Americas objectives
