Directly responsible for metrology of active dimming technologies. Led the characterization of materials, creation of SOPs, vendor engagement, and development of a custom metrology tool.Supported next generation component optical metrology from multiple teams at Meta Reality Labs. Techniques/responsibilities include: TWE & MTF testing of optics with Zygo and Tri-optics instruments, optical profilometry, transmission/reflectance spectroscopy, custom optical instrument development, and data analysis.

Managed an instrument user facility of a 100+ users across multiple disciplines that housed a combination of optical analysis, structural characterization, and thin film fabrication tools. Responsibilities included creating training documentation, instituting safety protocols, training users, assisting with experiments, managing supplies, installing instruments, and interfacing with suppliers/manufacturers.

Studied the fundamental excited state optical properties of two families of semiconductor nanocrystals. One project focused on chemical controls for photo-induced magnetism and used single particle microscopy to demonstrate magnetic ordering. Conducted research investigating magneto-optical spectroscopy of single semiconductor nanocrystals.Skills: Optical microscopy, clean room environment

Investigated the design of transition metal doped nanocrystal containing luminescent solar concentrators (waveguides) for solar energy harvesting.
