About Christopher Sherman
I'm a student at Illinois Tech pursuing a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Computer Science with plans to graduate in December of 2021. While in school, I've gained experience as an Intern developing frontend web applications in Vue.js at QsrSoft, a software team member writing tracking and obstacle detection software in Python for my robotics team, and teaching other students in computer science concepts as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Illinois Tech. I've also grown as a leader through roles such as President of the Illinois Tech chapter of Phi Kappa Sigma and President and Project Manager roles for my robotics team. The most exciting part about software development and engineering for me is organizing and developing large software projects into pieces that are easy to scale and maintain. One day, I would like to bring my experience in the field of computer software back to the classroom to teach the next generation of software developer and engineers. For now, I'm searching for diverse field experience in my years as a college student.
