As a Product Specialist/Brand Manager, I helped create and uphold the branding and marketing of special sections of The Buffalo News, with special emphasis on the Buffalo Brides/WNY Weddings suite of products, educational sections and sports sections. While at The Buffalo News, I helped clients utilize several tools, including print publications, digital, direct mail, e-mail marketing and sponsorship/events to successfully disseminate branding and messaging.

I worked for the Niagara Power for all nine years of the team's existence, in various roles.I spent three seasons as the Director of Broadcasting for the FCA sponsored Niagara Power of the NYCBL. I performed play by play duties for the game, while keeping stats and handling all advertisements and in game scripts.During my fourth year, I became the Director of Public Relations, which requires acting as the official scorer, and handling all league relations. I would also be the back-up PA announcer. I would hold these two roles throughout the rest of my time with the team.In my sixth season with the team, I served as a PR liazon for the 2012 NYCBL All-Star Game and Home Run Derby, hosted by the Niagara Power.The team folded following its ninth season, in 2015.

Developed and maintained the publicity efforts for all 18 varsity sports at Niagara, while being the specific point contact for men's hockey, women's soccer, m/w cross country, m/w swimming and diving, as well as women's lacrosse and softball.I was the Social Media Coordinator (Dec. 2007-Aug. 2011) creating and handling Niagara's Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and RSS pages. When I was finished working with social media, the NU Facebook page had over 2,700 fans, our NU Twitter page had over 450 followers and our NU Youtube page had over 100 videos posted. I assisted on the complete re-design of PurpleEagles.com (July-August 2011), including the implementation of video, social media outlets, RSS and other features. I was a member of the Host Organizing Commitee for the Dwyer Arena portion of the games, as well as the Event PIO for the Dwyer Arena venue. I was in charge of all things media relations for the tournament games at Dwyer Arena. I was in charge of running the press boxes, press room and mix zones. I also was a point contact for TSN and TV networks from the Czech Republic, Russia and Sweden. I recruited, scheduled and trained a group of 10 volunteers in order to aid in media relations efforts. I also helped with other tasks that came up throughout the tournament.

Was the Director of Public Relations and Assistant Commissioner in the final season of the men's College Hockey America conference. Also was the Communications Coordinator for the 2010 CHA Championship Tournament, which was hosted by Niagara University.I updated the conference website, while handling all aspects of the final season of College Hockey America, including weekly/yearly awards, media requests, the 2010 CHA Tournament (including two nationally televised games) and other duties as assigned by the Commissioner.

Assisted with the public relations efforts for the National Hockey League's Buffalo Sabres during the 2006-07 season; a season which saw the team unveil new uniforms/colors, win the President's Trophy, Northeast Division championship and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.I transcribed quotes from coaches for present media post-game, ran stats throughout the arena and to various TV trucks during intermission and took on other related duties in the press box.
