I am currently a first year PhD student at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University's Neural and Behavioral Sciences program seeking to study learning and memory in psychiatric disorders. Recently, I graduated from Syracuse University with my Bachelor of Science in Biology and Neuroscience, and conducted research on the cognitive and behavioral effects of early life adversity. I am also passionate about equal STEM education and opportunities, as I have previously taught in various STEM education programs/settings in various age groups. These experiences have ranged from working as a robotics and 3D printing instructor to working as an undergraduate teaching assistant in biopsychology.
