About Ian Simpson

Fuelled by coffee and a passion for empowering educators, what energises me most is collaborating with fellow teachers to make a difference for students. For nearly 20 years, I’ve been privileged to support educators by facilitating lively professional development and designing practical resources. Though I enjoy public speaking, my favourite moments happen between workshops, where we continue the conversation over a drink, sharing ideas and inspiring each other. Outside of work, I enjoy staying sharp through video games and continually learning as a gamer. There is always more to learn, and I’m grateful for the mentors who’ve shaped my approach of leading with empathy. My goal is for every teacher to feel uplifted and equipped to take the next step in their journey.
