Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me! My professional path started in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, then health coaching, and now counseling. While one is rooted in data and the others in people, the through line has always been my genuine desire to support those around me. I knew early on that my purpose was to help people and I've successfully navigated different industries to settle into the right fit for me. Working with students in schools and clients in a clinical setting is a whole different world from working with reagents in biochemistry labs or coaching people over Zoom but everything I've learned from the work and my colleagues is what makes me a uniquely qualified to be part of your team. My skills range from protein synthesis to motivational interviewing to working with people from a mental health perspective...and there's always more to learn. Just like I learned from the scientists and nurses whom I worked closely with, I look forward to learning more from my fellow counselors.
