I was employed with the City of LaGrange Fire Department for 25 years. The last 12 years I served as a Fire Lieutenant in charge of coordinating the Public Education Division and 9 years as Company Officer. My day to day responsibility was to coordinate Fire & Life Safety Education in the community ranging from children to older adults as well as planning and scheduling community events that involve the LaGrange Fire Department. I also served as the department's spokesperson involving media relation situations, and the gathering and sharing of information with other agencies, etc. I was the host of our monthly departmental and community show that aired on our the local Government access channel. The show has aired for 11 years - which cover topics that are centered around Safety, Training, Upcoming Events, Public Education, etc. Along with my current retired status of being a Fire Service Professional, I have started my very own business in the travel industry. I am a Certified Travel Professional and CLIA member with several specialist certifications with travel suppliers around the country. This is my home-based business that gives me the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of travel and share other services and resources that will help others to live out their goals and dreams.I have achieved several accomplishments that I am truly grateful for, and I thank God for opening up the windows of opportunity. I graduated from the Leadership Troup Class of 2007, graduated from the FBI-Atlanta Citizen's Academy Class of 2008, and organized the first county wide Public Information Task-force in our community.
