I have devoted the last decade to transforming the Hildebrand Project from a small, academic project into a vibrant, sustainable, cultural institution. My role has developed from Research Fellow (2011) to Director of Communications (2011), to Director of Marketing and Publications (2013), to Vice President (2021). As Vice President, I work closely and collaboratively with the President, while maintaining personal responsibility for the areas of marketing, communications, content, and the Hildebrand Press. In collaboration with the President, board, and key collaborators, I define goals and other criteria for evaluating the growth of the programs and areas under my oversight, with key criteria including impact, people served, and financial sustainability. I work closely with scholars and other peer organizations in developing creative and effective strategies for realizing our mission. I oversee the performance of employees and independent contractors, and recommend new hires and consultancies, as indicated by opportunity and need.
