Managed outreach and community engagement for the Words at Play Vocabulary Initiative by building and maintaining relationships with families and community partners.In addition, my responsibilities included writing curriculum and serving as consultant for literacy-based activities. I initiated a weekly e-newsletter and social media presence and created multimedia presentations for regional and national conferences. Words at Play Vocabulary Initiative is a PNC-funded grant serving families with children birth-5 years old in two high-needs neighborhoods of Philadelphia. Through a variety of events, the program provides strategies and activities to build vocabulary over the long-term.

Taught general music to grades K-8 and directed elementary and middle school choirs. Also taught adapted music or special education classes, including autistic support, multiple disability, and life skills classes.
