I serve on the leadership team of Champion Forest Baptist Church (CFBC). CFBC is a multi-campus church in Northwest Houston with a $21M budget, 400 employees, and over 14,000 members. My primary responsibilities include implementing the vision of the Senior Pastor, through leading the Administrative Global Support Team (AGS). Additionally, I serve as the primary implementer for special initiatives such as construction projects, stewardship campaigns, and property transactions. As the Pastor of Operations and COO my primary focus is leading the AGS team which is responsible for all global support and shared service functions at CFBC. The AGS team is broken into eight different disciplines making AGS a team of teams. In addition to directly leading the team leaders of each discipline, I also serve as the direct leader for the finance and human resources teams. The AGS team consists of the following disciplines: • Finance Team – Accounts payable, contributions and budgeting • HR Team – Benefits, payroll, and employee records • Communications Team – Publications, content creation, social media, and web development • Media & Production Team – Sound, light, & video support for all services, events, and activities • Facilities Team – Custodial and maintenance support • Support Services – Membership records, data maintenance, first impressions, and security • IT and Infrastructure – Computer systems, communications systems, and network infrastructure • Operations/Event Team – Event planning, calendaring, and coordination
