I direct my efforts toward creating lasting value.True scalability lies in the ability of a company to operate efficiently and effectively, even in the absence of its founder. When I joined Reply Pro, I was asked to rebuild the platform to unlock the company's potential growth. The existing platform was too buggy to scale any further. I started by expanding the team, recruiting dedicated engineers, and establishing a culture of best practices to ensure the scalability and stability of our products.- Developed a repeatable process for recruiting remote engineers.- Championed the architecture and scalability of a new platform, transitioning the company from ad hoc engineering to a more structured, efficient approach.- Streamlined the product development process by introducing regularly scheduled discovery and planning stages, reducing delays and improving product quality.- Assisted the CEO with customer discovery, leading to a new SAAS product that opened up a fresh market for the company.- Unblocked sales by delivering a scalable SAAS product.- Designed and implemented a comprehensive reporting system that empowers non-technical team members to create insightful dashboards for clients. This system aggregates customer feedback from various digital channels, providing actionable insights to clients. The project freed up engineering resources and enhanced our ability to deliver needle-moving insights.- Led the ideation, planning, and execution of sprints, instilling a culture of strategic foresight and operational efficiency.- Identified and validated new technologies before integrating them into our software stack.- Regularly liaised with non-engineering personnel to translate clients' needs into actionable technical tasks.- Authored internal documentation that codified company culture and core values, enhancing team engagement and productivity.- Conducted one-on-one meetings with software engineers and other employees, nurturing their professional growth.- Pioneered serverless architecture using GCP and maintained a Kubernetes cluster.

I co-founded Papaya, a nutrition software company with the mission to make nutrition easy, fun, and accessible. As co-founder, I did a little of everything. With the help of my co-founder, we developed the software and sold it to dietitians. We even got an acquisition offer.I started this company out of my struggle to eat well. I spent hours of my weekends in spreadsheets, carefully planning my meals for the upcoming week. I figured that an app could remove this barrier to nutritious eating. In seconds, our app suggested a meal plan that fit their caloric and macronutrient needs. After developing a mobile app with a subscription-based model, we pivoted to marketing our app as a tool for dietitians. We performed market research by talking to dozens of dietitians. After a few initial sales, we developed a pricing model for this market and started a sales campaign.
