  Responsible for overseeing and representing all aspects of the WESST Statewide Loan program. Accountable for managing the overall success of the WESST Loan Fund ensuring that qualitative and quantitative impacts through vigorous lending practices are achieved. Accountable for developing and maintaining strong community, business, and economic development relationships as a means of marketing WESST’s access to capital opportunities. Oversee all aspects of the loan inquiry process. Manage the health of the loan portfolio and take the necessary corrective actions to limit or eliminate loan delinquencies and defaults. Review all loan packages for thoroughness and approval. Maintain consistent interaction with existing loan fund recipients to support success. Direct and/or help loan applicants with alternative financing options if/when appropriate. Train and/or assist Regional Mangers as necessary with preparing loan packages for the loan program and/or other lenders to support business growth. Maintain a vibrant and accurate loan applicant pipeline that is tracked in a database. Support and influence the recruitment of Loan Committee members. Interface with and influence the Loan Committee members to ensure an active and productive committee is in place. Interact frequently with WESST staff to identify and improve loan program initiatives.
