Since 1998, Juan Cuevas has been involved in transactions totaling over $1 billion. His 24-year career started as a residential leasing agent in New York City with New York City Apartments Inc., where he quickly became one of the firm's top producing agents. In 2003, Mr. Cuevas relocated to Houston, Texas and switched his concentration to the financing side of real estate transactions. Mr. Cuevas once again achieved the status of top producer in his firm. After four years of dedicated service, Mr. Cuevas was promoted to head of the Commercial Lending Department where he was involved with financing commercial properties. In November, 2009, Mr. Cuevas was recruited by Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services and became an agent with the firm. He is a nationally recognized multifamily investment specialist. This specialization allows him to have a great understanding of market trends, industry standards and the micro/macro factors of commercial real estate assets. He quickly made a name for himself in the industry as a person who is very hard working, ethical and knowledgeable. These attributes made him a rising star both at Marcus & Millichap and in the Houston multifamily market.
