The Luas Cross City Traffic Forum has been set to enable the Local Authority, Police, Bus Companies, Taxi Operators and the City Centre Business Community ensure as little as possible disruption to Dublin City life is experienced during the Luas Cross City construction phase.In addition I undertake ongoing surveys of operational aspects of the Luas Light Rail Operations including run times and signalling functioning.As a member of the Luas Infrastructure Safety Review Team my work involves reviewing public interaction with the Luas Light Rail System from the aspects of Passengers, Non-Passenger and Road users so as to propose and fund ongoing improvements to the Luas Light Rail System. This requires interactions with each of these utility owners to ensure the proposed designs comply with all aspects of a safe and economical Water or Gas network. I am also responsible for the production of materials schedules and specification documentation and Bill of Quantity lists for the RPA Quantity Surveying Department.I am also a staff elected member of the Information and Consultation Forum set up pursuant to the Employees (Provision of Information and Consultation) Act 2006.
