CurrentDaniel B. Cunningham is a leader-advocate working to bring Americans together to restore sustainable long-term (10 years) 3% growth (meaning longer, healthier, and better lives) for ALL Americans. Since 1998, he has been CEO of The Long-Stanton Group, a manufacturer of aviation and hospital room components used globally, founded in 1835 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Awards won by The Long-Stanton Group under his tenure include Family Business of the Decade and three Manny Awards; for the Hall of Fame Leadership Award, Biggest Breakthrough, and New Product Development.Mr. Cunningham is a Graduate and Fellow of Harvard University. He studied electrical generation, distribution, and regulation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Cunningham was a Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Cincinnati Branch. He is the Founder and CEO of the Cunningham Institute for Growth™, which analyses competing programs for their impact on increasing economic growth, then determines and explains the best possible path forward to create maximum growth. He is an early investor and Business Advisory Board Member with Amberwave Partners, where he helps to support its JSG focus on Jobs, Security, and Economic Growth.He has volunteered for service as a Board member for Cincinnati Opera, Artswave, Ralph J. Stolle YMCA, Warren County Foundation, and Xavier University Economics Advisory Board. He is past Co-President and Director of the Harvard Business School Club of Cincinnati. He is past President, Director, and current Chorister of the Harvard Club of Cincinnati. Mr. Cunningham is a persuasive public speaker for large and small audiences. To support his work to restore 3% long-term U.S. economic growth for ALL Americans, he is an avid student of the economics/effectiveness/fairness of global trade, healthcare, financial services, and how market-based electricity is regulated.
