Directs, monitors and executes the daily accounting functions of the company, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Inventory, including coordinating the duties and functions with accounting personnel in secondary offices. Ensures that financial reporting is in compliance with GAAP and tax for limited liability companies and partnerships and effectively communicates to the senior management team. Manages cash funding requirements, including fixed asset and debt service payments with external agencies and insuring that bank covenants are managed. Coordinates financial audits and provides recommendations for procedural improvements. Coordinates multiple tax returns preparation with outside tax accountants. Manages insurance requirements and acts as financial liason for 401K audits. Establishes and implements department goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Maintains a current system of internal controls. Ensures that job costing is accurate and labor, materials and equipment costs are allocated timely and accurately. Assists with the annual budget process and assures compliance with budget thresholds.
