Oct 2010, Consulant for FEV, Inc.Developed high level analysis of competitive hydraulic hybrid Vehicle systems. The analysis determined that the FEV client was uncompetitive with similar systems from Parker, Eaton, and Rexroth. This project was subsequently cancelled.Sep 2010 - October 2010 Consultant for FEV Inc. Developed high level market and technical analysis of currently available wind generators in the 1 to 1.5 megawatt range.May, 2010 – July 2010 Consultant for FEV Inc.Developed a high level, analysis of the cost and emissions capability of a competitive Diesel locomotive engine for a North American client.Dec, 2009 – Jan, 2010 Consultant for FEV Inc. Developed a high level, analysis of the cost and competitiveness of Diesel engines in the 50 to 80 liter displacement range as a follow-up to earlier analysis conducted in 2009.Jan, 2009 – Apr, 2009 Consultant for FEV Inc. Developed a high level, world wide market, technical competitiveness and cost analysis of Diesel engines in the 20 to 50 liter displacement range under contract to a manufacturer seeking to update their designs. Worked with design engineers to develop a preliminary architecture for a new engine design for Management review.Mar, 2008 – May, 2008 Consultant for Gonzales Design Services Inc.Developed a high level technical powertrain analysis of American military vehicles in support of “Future Combat Systems” transitional goals for performance fuel economy and emissions.

Chief Powertrain (P/T) analyst on D-Car based vehicle programs focusing on the new 2009 Lincoln MKS, the 2010 Ford 500 upgrade, and the new 2010 Ford Fairlane/Lincoln derivatives. Worked with Vehicle Planning to analyze competitive P/T actions and develop strategic responses. Coordinated P/T engineering containment models, fuel economy / performance projections, and financial studies to assure that programs were within planning guidelines.Initiated V8 engine program (subsequently cancelled). Initiated Diesel engine program (subsequently cancelled). Initiated Turbo DI gasoline engine program, (current production)
