Second in Command/Deputy Commanding Officer, 7 Toronto Regiment. I am deputy commander of an Army Reserve artillery regiment of 175 officers and soldiers. Each year, the regiment conducts an intensive and demanding training cycle; including classroom, dry, and live fire exercises. This ensures that our soldiers and officers are adequately prepared to perform the technical artillery and administrative duties expected of them when called upon to support domestic or international operations for the Canadian Armed Forces.

Deployed as part of Op UNIFIER. CAF Liaison Officer to Military Assistance Contribution Coordination Centre and TF 82nd AB (US). Facilitated the delivery of equipment assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine on behalf of Canada in a joint, multinational environment. Oversaw team of 6 members.

Stormwater Management Designer - worked on creation of figures; sanitary, stormwater, and water demand calculations for Functional Servicing Reports and Stormwater Management Reports. Drafted text for same.

Completed CAD design duties, as part of the Municipal Engineering team. As this team was relatively small (project engineer and two CAD designers) this role covered a wide spectrum of duties ranging from pure CAD design, to tender preparation, to project coordination, and site inspection. Projects included transformer station rehabilitation (Hydro Ottawa), in-campus watermain replacement (Shirley's Bay, Government of Canada), parking lot rehabilitation (Ultramar & Costco), to name a few, Worked on projects valued from $50K to upwards of $1.2M. The majority of these projects were completed in Ottawa and the National Capital Region but have taken me as far as Resolute Bay, Nunavut (sewer system upgrades.)

Camp Julien, Kabul, Afghanistan

Augmentee to the 2nd Batallion, Royal Canadian Regiment Task Force to the NATO Training Mission - Afghanistan/Canadian Contribution Training Mission - Afghanistan. Worked on a daily basis with Afghan National Army Operations and Training counterparts at the Darulaman Literacy Centre (Darulaman, Kabul, Afghanistan) in an effort to improve efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations, with the goal of achieving full independence from Coalition Forces. Coordinated operations and training acitivities at the camp and dealt on a regular basis with operations personnel from other nations, Canadian national Command NATO Command elements.
