In this role, I am responsible for working with the development team at Vyne Dental (Formerly RES) to drive towards consistency and quality in our engineering practices across several projects. I advocate simple and maintainable solutions to difficult problems, and work with the team to make sure that we are implementing industry best practices. I lead a team of engineers, with the goal of helping them grow their skills and produce high quality software.

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

In this role at Vyne Dental (Formally RES) I worked with a team of engineers in order to modernize a suite of applications and move them into AWS utilizing Lambda, S3, appsync, and DynamoDB with the goal of creating a completely server-less solution. In addition, I was a primary contributor in creating the automated build and release pipeline for the project in azure devops. Finally, I focused on bringing my experience with agile practices and unit testing to the table when working with the team to architect new solutions, and assist the team in the process of moving towards modern development practices.

Milford Ma

As a Senior Software Engineer, I became a product expert on the LIMS and LES products, assisting with production support cases, profiling performance issues, and architecting new features, as well as mentoring interns and new engineers. I was on the architecture board representing the LIMS product and became involved with integrations with a common platform using Groovy and Grails.

As a software engineer at Dassault Systems (formerly Accelrys and VelQuest) I developed skills in test driven development, took ownership of the completion of stories for the LIMS and LES product lines, and also worked with the testing team on the creation of an automated testing framework to replace traditional selenium tests.

Hopkinton, Ma

In this position (formerly Accelrys), I worked as a web developer focused primarily on bug fixes with broad exposure to problems as low as database connectivity and connection strategies up through the client side code. I also assisted with writing and debugging automated test scripts utilizing selenium.

During my time as an intern (formerly VelQuest) I worked on a variety of projects spanning across the IT, SQA, and Development groups. During the summer, I configured machines and ran daily smoke tests on new builds for a service release, and as time went on I worked on re-factoring and adding features to a tool that was delivered to customers, in addition to performing defect corrections on released products.

I was a student worker for two semesters tutoring my peers in various computer science classes. The help given ranged anywhere from helping to debug Java programs, helping reinforce class concepts that students were struggling with, to working with my peers to help them come to the answer of challenging assignments. When students were not in for tutoring I helped organize the computer science job fair, as well as assist the professors as needed.

As a GSA at Target, I was responsible for assisting in leading the front end guest experience team. This included managing the cashiers and service desk team members, ensuring that guests expectations were exceeded, and driving a fast fun and friendly guest experience.
