In this program, I am the Spokesperson of a 100+ member scientific collaboration, GlueX, which started to collect data in late 2014. As part of my research program, I supervise post doctoral researchers and both graduate and undergraduate research students. I also teach, primarily at, the undergraduate level and have written textbooks to support my teaching.

I have served as the spokesperson of the 100+ member GlueX collaboration since late 2007. During this time period, the project (as part of the Jefferson Lab 12-GeV Upgrade) went through its DOE Critical Decision 2 and Critical Decision 3 Reviews, and successful construction, installation and commissioning of the experiment took place. The experiment is now poised to start collecting physics data in 2016.
