I am a Transformative Content Reformationist whose work story began at the age of 18 by enlisting in the United States Army after successfully completing military school in Fort Dix, New Jersey. I would go on the receive specialized skills training awards and recognition that led me to complete 17 years of honorable active military service before receiving a medical retirement and transition to civilian life. Being exposed to and experiencing diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds led me to want to leverage my talents and skills in a teambuilding solution-oriented fashion. Third-party logistics mastery afforded me to take all of that refined leadership and team-building strengths into several different environments across the United States. My interests led me to want to gain an understanding of how the brain functions on an individual and collective modality. My goal was to begin a non-profit organization for black veterans and their families who suffer from different mental and physical health challenges as a result of military service. In analyzing all of those life experiences, I realized that they shared a common theme. The common thread that weaved all of these experiences together was each one shared a story. In coming to Full Sail University, I began to organize my thoughts and ideas through various course assignments resources, and activities that were vital in crafting the Art Of Storytelling Podcast. Through this visual mechanism, people can come to share their stories and help reshape the narratives that are often misrepresented in the media and entertainment industry. It is the mission of the Art Of Storytelling Podcast to help reshape the narrative of the black community by telling real stories from everyday people as told from the eyes and not distorted claims of less-informed media and entertainment sources.
