Currently a Seaplane Program Manager for 2 Aircraft and 4 Pilots operating out of the Long Island area responsible for coordination of missions to and from the city as well as all aspects of Aviation Maintenance, Training, Standardization, Safety, and Operations.Aviation Program Manager and Safety Manager previously for the WADNR Wildfire Aviation Program consisting of 12 specially modified Bell UH-1 aircraft, 13 highly skilled and carded aerial firefighting aviators, 6 licensed aviation maintenance technicians, 1 chief pilot, 1 chief mechanic, and having resourcing oversight of an elite 40 man Helitak crew. Responsible for resourcing, managing, training, evolving, and deploying the program team as an effective Initial Attack combined suppression force against wild land fires that threaten the lives and property of the people of Washington State. Managed $25M budget contracting of 6 Fireboss and 4 rotor aerial firefighters and managed the aircraft managers and basing in support of 6 Wildfire Aerial Firefighting Bases with many of them developed and built from zero. Overall had 70 personnel in the program fundamentally evolving the program from 4 rotor wing aircraft and two bases. Increased Initial Attack Success Rate from 92% to 96% saving the state 100s of million of dollars in Firefighting costs and damage.Previously served as Battalion Senior Warrant Officer for a 600 man Special Operations Aviation Battalion responsible for the training, progression, employment, positioning, and development of 94 Warrant Officers. Served as an Aircraft Accident Investigator for the US Army Combat Readiness / Safety Center and Senior Warrant Officer Advisor to the Commanding General. Additionally employed as Chief Operations Officer for the Combat Readiness Safety Center at Fort Rucker. Served as a Battalion Aviation Safety Officer, Instructor Pilot, Master Aerial Gunner, Instrument Examiner, and Standardization Assault and Armed Helicopter Pilot. Have deployed numerous times to Iraq and Afghanistan with some experience in South America and the Pacific Rim region. Most experience serving as part of Special Operations Aviation Regiment. Flight Safety Trained as a multi engine Fixed Wing Pilot as well as Caravan C208B Amphibian Pilot. Commercial Rotary Instrument CFII, Type rating in the S70, and NVG Instructor endorsement.Specialties: Aviation and Ground Safety, Flight Instruction and Training, Personnel Management, Plans and Operations, COA Development, High Risk Mission Execution, Budget Management and Resourcing.
