CurrentA highly experienced consultant, Chris Walcot has more than 20 years’ experience working in both the public and private sectors. A specialist in the implementation of effective technologies, he has excellent awareness of the business technology marketplace, ranging from niche systems to major ERPs. One of Chris’ key strengths is enabling organisations to understand and plan for the impact and potential benefits of installing new systems, processes and procedures whilst underpinning these with robust and measurable business cases. Chris has in-depth experience of systems due diligence ahead of corporate acquisition and has recently led the review and redesign of an international oil company’s IT systems infrastructure to enable their continued growth within a secure and robust environment. Chris has led process review projects from a Business Process Reengineering perspective and from a Process and Controls review perspective; the latter was used to aid an AIM listed oil and gas company to become listed on the main market (FTSE). His early career included time with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Fujitsu Services and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Chris has experience of regulatory requirements in relation to IFRS, SOX, SEC and has provided project/ programme management services to a number of FTSE and AIM listed companies. Chris is currently involved in two Sun Financials v5.4 implementations: As an overall Project Manager for the implementation of Proactis (Procurement, Stores, Contracts Management, Expenses), Sun Financials v5.4, QA10 reporting tools, Advanced Bank Inquiry, Business Links for Business Payments (B4B), WFSS time recording and PM10 Budgeting and Forecasting for an AIM Listed Oil and Gas company based in the City of London As the IT lead for the implementation of Sun Financials v5.4 and QA10 reporting tools for an AIM listed oil exploration company based in the West End of London.
