Served as part of a field instructor team helping at-risk youth work through extinguishing undesirable behaviors in their home and school life, counseling emotional issues, and rehabilitating addicts of drugs or alcohol in a 100% outdoor setting across the span of several weeks. Students live, sleep, cook, skill-build, and receive therapy sessions deep in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountain wilderness. The field instructor works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for 8 days a shift, with 6 days off following each shift.

Atlanta, Ga

Part of the pilot year staff for Booker T. Washington High School's Early College program, a result of a "small-school" initiative to improve graduation rates and college admission of inner-city Atlanta Public Schools students. Taught Spanish Levels 1 and 2 on a 4x4 block schedule, facilitated Spanish Club at Early College, managed all End-of-Course Test and Georgia High School Graduation Testing, served on the School Leadership Team and on the SACS (Southern Association for Colleges and Schools) accreditation committee for the school.
